Super Weapons Test Range Version 1.02
This is a 2 player skirmish map for Zero Hour. It is not intended for multiplayer use.
The human player should start from the left starting position. The starting position on the right is intended for the skirmish AI player, though you can also start from the right if you want.
This map is intended mainly for mod and map.ini makers who want to adjust and perfect their new superweapons or general's powers weapons. However, even if you are not into making mods, you can still use this map to test various special powers and superweapons that are in the game (or in mods that you install).
You may, for example, use this map to test the accuracy of a delivery payload of bombs: does it drop on target? Airforce general's carpet bombs tend to fall short for example - the OCL that calls them could be improved.
The map lets you do this by placing a target area down range from your base, in line with your command centre (where your special power planes come from).
The target area is populated by target vehicles so you can see the effectiveness or not of your weapons.
You can renew the targets on the range in the game.
Scripts give you lots of generals points to spend and free sciences from the start.
See the readme file for more information and a tutotial on how to use this map in ini editing.
Map comes with an example map.ini which changes the A10 strike to use cluster bombs, but you can improve how this works in the tutorial.

thomasalan's Blog - Bionic Commando returns - Thu, 17 Jul 2008 14:26:53 -0500 Way back in the day... say about 20 years ago i played Bionic Commando on the NES that's the first nintendo for those of you who are too young to have played the NES. It was a very unique and entertaining game, it had one unique feature that set it apart from all the other games, it didn't have a jump button you used you bionic arm to swing and fly through the air, with some great challenges, i remember i must have died dozens of times trying to swing across some areas from light pole to light pole, it was a game of practiced skill.
At E3 this year i was very thrilled to see that bionic commando has been reborn , it's coming soon... i have waited decades to play this game again.
